The Welsh 3000ft Challenge

Embark on one of Britain’s most classic mountain walks and scale the 3000ft peaks of the Snowdon massif, the Glyderau and Carneddau ranges in the heart of Snowdonia. The Welsh 3000’s is a physically challenging experience, during which you will encounter some of the most spectacular and rugged mountains the UK has to offer. Requiring fitness, stamina, determination and some scrambling ability, the route is over 30-miles long with over 13,000ft of ascent. From Pen y Pass in the south to Bwlch y Ddeufaen in the north, you will cross 14 peaks, tackling diverse mountain terrain, knife-edged ridges and wide grassy ridges. It’s hard work, but a rewarding, unforgettable trip.
